Beth McCormack is a Certified Aromatherapist, teacher, lecturer and author. She studied the art of Aromatherapy with well-known Aromatherapists Jeanne Rose of San Francisco and Peter Holmes of Snow Lotus Aromatherapy in Boulder, Colorado. Beth taught "Aromatherapy and the Secret Life of Plants" for two years at the New Orleans School for the Imagination. She worked as a consultant for Madame Falgoux's Aromatherapy Emporium of New Orleans.

Beth's work appears regularly in several magazines including PanGaia, Spirituality & Health, Vitality Magazine, FitnessLink Magazine, the AGORA website, the Aromatic Plant Project Journal and the National Association for Holistic Aromatherapy Journal. Her book, Great Wylde Angelica: Aromatherapy from magic to medicine is an academic work tracing the history of magic, medicine and aromatherapy, and discussing traditional and modern uses of essential oils.

Beth specializes in individual and group lectures, workshops and seminars for all practitioners including massage therapists, aestheticians, nurses, doctors and veterinarians. Subjects have included blending, physical properties of essential oils, therapeutic methods of application, pre and post-surgical aromatherapy, relaxation methods, skin and hair care, and pet care. Beth’s own book is used as the text for each seminar.
