Beth McCormack is a writer, archaeologist, and certified Aromatherapist. She holds an MFA in Writing from Naropa University, and an MA in Archaeology from the University of Reading in the UK. She is currently a writer, illustrator, and archaeologist for Lone Mountain Archaeological Services in Albuquerque, New Mexico.
Beth's articles and poetry have appeared in many national magazines. Her first book, Prehistoric Sites of Montgomeryshire (Wales), was released by Logaston Press in April, 2006. Shortly after its release, she embarked on a promotional lecture and book-signing tour of Wales. Her lectures were standing-room-only and the book enthusiastically received. She was back in the U.K. in September, 2006 as part of the excavation team at the historic Stonehenge Riverside Project under the direction of Julian Thomas.
